My name is Jade Galindo Salgado, I am a 16 year old hobby artist from McFarland High School, I used to mainly work with digital art and animation but enjoy all forms of media.

 

My art is based on a lot of pop culture while still trying to maintain the simplicity of old classical Renaissance art. I'm not very skilled with painting, and if anything become pretty rusty with art all together, but I try to incorporate not only art from before and around me, but I love putting my culture into my work whatever it may be. I like to include lots of vibrant colors and symbols that hold the pride of everything I am. most of my art revolves around fiction and characters, but for most of my recent pieces, I like to push symbolism and the overviews of emotion. emotion is probably one of the things I love most to express in my art yet the one thing I struggle with the most. showing art with no face or actual expression can be shown with multiple different factors like color, symbolism, motion, etc. It is something I wanted to include in my artwork to create emotion, and if not that, at least show it in the form of color and shape.
